Saturday November 21, 2009 • 8:00 p.m.

The Magnificat is one of the most powerful poetic texts for the beginning of the advent season. Composers from around the world have chosen to set this poem to music, with some composers writing as many as ten different settings. London Pro Musica Choir, with guest artists Orchestra London, will perform J.S. Bach’s masterpiece along with music by Canadian composer Imant Raminish.
