The
Magnificat is one of the most powerful poetic texts for the beginning
of the advent season. Composers from around the world have chosen
to set this poem to music, with some composers writing as many as
ten different settings. London Pro Musica Choir, with guest artists
Orchestra London, will perform J.S. Bach’s masterpiece along
with music by Canadian composer Imant Raminish.

Canada
is gaining the reputation as a great singing nation. There are strong
voices from children’s choirs to adult and senior choirs.
During this concert, LPM Choir will take the audience on a cross
country tour of our rich heritage, showcasing songs, stories and
folksongs.
